I started with vBulletin forums on shared hosting: creating MySQL databases and users in cPanel, granting permissions, editing config.php by hand, and managing tables and backups through phpMyAdmin. By university, I was building custom WordPress sites for businesses.

The motion grew from individual conversations into people leadership, vendor planning, enterprise technology, and full-cycle pipeline ownership.

Two empty lofts become a business

Building the product and selling every hour

We bootstrapped two empty Toronto lofts into full-service production hubs for artists, podcasters, and video creators, reaching a six-figure run rate in nine months without outside capital. I learned the business end to end: positioning, acquisition, pricing, contracts, utilization, community, and the operating system behind every booked hour.

Growth engine

Instagram-influencer funnels, SEO content, grassroots partnership events, masterclasses, and referral loops drove premium bookings.

Recurring model

A Residency Membership converted ad-hoc customers into subscribers while a 40+ person creator community deepened retention and referrals.

Owning the promise after the sale

Pivotree connected the commercial promise to the real system behind it. I owned revenue, renewals, and customer success across a multi-industry enterprise portfolio, then moved into managed-services delivery leadership with responsibility for operational health, budgets, executive reporting, and contract continuity.

Unified eCommerce, master-data management, managed hosting, and security into value roadmaps and executive QBRs.

Commercial outcomes

Surfaced expansion plays that produced 22% year-over-year ARR growth while sustaining 94% gross renewal across the portfolio.

Preparation becomes production

Practice until the first month feels familiar

I treated the Docebo ramp like deliberate practice: repeated role-play with colleagues, call review, certification, and direct feedback until the motion felt familiar. A recorded call entered the team’s Great L1 Calls library, L2 certification landed at 92% on the first attempt, and the preparation converted into a first ARR win and more than $40K in my first live month.

Preparation

Rehearsed the full conversation repeatedly with two colleagues and used feedback to tighten discovery, agenda-setting, and next steps.

Formal development

Completed Strategic Account Management at Smith School of Business and added MEDDPICC to the operating toolkit.

The work shifted from learning the motion to building it repeatedly: understand the customer’s priorities, map whitespace, connect the right specialist, and make expansion feel like the next logical customer decision. The results arrived across content, integrations, and platform growth rather than one narrow product motion.

The breakout year

High attainment, built across the whole book

I crossed annual quota in 6.5 months across 23 deals. By early December, the portfolio included five $100K+ deals, material growth on six renewals, five repeat-purchase customers, and five platform conversions. The point was not one giant win; it was a portfolio system producing volume, expansion, retention, and strategic change at the same time.

247% in June, 198% in Q2, and 194% in H1; annual quota was crossed by mid-July.

The account becomes a room

Orchestrating people, not just pipeline

At this level, the account became a room I was responsible for designing. One strategic onsite brought together 17 stakeholders, including Director and VP leaders, around a 12–24 month plan and a possible consolidation of 11–15 systems. Elsewhere, customers asked for continuity across time zones because one enterprise narrative mattered more than regional ownership.

Team architecture

Orchestrated success, content, value consulting, product, and executive sponsorship around one customer agenda—and made the contributors visible.

Expansion over time

One anonymized strategic account doubled ARR and later added another $78K expansion, showing that account growth can compound across cycles.

Taking account craft into workforce strategy

This four-month chapter moved into LinkedIn’s talent and learning portfolio and conversations with global HR and talent leaders. It widened the lens from product adoption to how enterprises think about skills, people, and workforce change—while testing which parts of my account craft travelled cleanly into a different platform and executive agenda.

Ramping fast—and leaving tools behind

Cority meant learning a technically and operationally dense category spanning multinational EHSQ and sustainability programs. I found and closed a roughly $84K recurring-services opportunity within five weeks, followed by a separate $69K ARR win plus $35K in professional services inside two months—then started turning the account methods behind those outcomes into reusable team assets.

First win

Revived a dormant opportunity, navigated a real stakeholder path, and closed roughly $84K in recurring services; peers emphasized that it was earned sales work, not low-hanging fruit.
